A one-of-a-kind property for a thoroughly elegant and transformative event. The furnishings and art are large scale and dramatic and still wonderfully comfortable and not overly delicate. Our group of 10 adults and 6 kids had plenty of room , this is the first time we've been able to fit everyone at the same table for meals. it was wonderful to have so many rooms and bathrooms and space to play games and relax inside and out. We were very lucky that this house was available at the last minute when our other plan fell through, and the owner worked with us to host our large group with only two days' notice. We should have booked this house in the first place. The location was great, we took short bus trips to visit the downtown museums and to go north to Silver Springs. We cooked a lot in the kitchen and it worked well, the owner had recently bought a second oven and a second refrigerator which were a big help to feed lots of people. We will remember this house for a long time!

This house was incredible. The backyard is gorgeous and our hosts were very quick to respond.

This was a great location for a large family visiting the DC area. Teddy made several accommodations for us at the very last minute which made our stay a good one. The location was good - quick access to grocery stores (though we made the effort to drive to the closest Wegmans) and in a neighborhood that was great for morning jogs. Though close to the main street, the house was tucked away from being on a crowded street.
